Selro & Selini is best known for jewelry incorporating brightly colored plastic faces, Selro was founded by Russian immigrant Paul Selinger in New York City in the late 1940s and remained open until the 1960s. As well as the "head" jewelry, delicate and feminine pieces were also produced.
