Listing is for dress,jacket,skirt Gorgeous black velvet theater costume, made in the 60s-70s in Victorian style , a jacket and long skirt. Jacket: Chest 96cm, waist 80cm .Skirt waist 72cm, length 107cm . The fabric is a silk velvet and in the skirt there are some pin holes from needle stitching, visible when you hold it to the light. On the hem of one sleeve (on the inside) there is a little damage as shown in photo(not visible when wearing.) Silk velvet is a very expensive and gorgeous soft fabric that falls very beautiful around the body. The skirt has a beautiful black flower trim around the hem. Beautiful antique or vintage silk theater dress . Good condition for age with some signs of wear, especially at the seam of the dress. A very light stain on the right front.
