Brynje Arctic Double is the warmest base layer in the Brynje range. Used by Military Special Forces teams, skiers and mountaineers amongst others. Made to be worn as a base layer in cold conditions, or as a layering piece, this innovative mesh and merino combination delivers warmth and wicking performance when you need it.
80% wool outside, 20% polyamide Inside - 100% polypropylene This traps air to keep you warm, while allowing your body to breath. Moisture vapour is released through the mesh, and away from the body. This allows for excellent body temperature regulation in cold conditions. Size/Fit: XXL Fly: yes. Elastic waistband (4 cm wide) Flat seams that don’t chafe. Soft, comfortable, and itch-free. Mesh construction insulates during low activity and wicks moisture during high activity. Absorbs less moisture than tightly woven wool. Insulates even when damp. Doesn’t cling to the body due to large holes that reduce skin contact. Withstands high heat, does not melt on the skin.
